Tenchi One Martial Arts advancements
Today was a very important day for our dojo. Here are the reasons:
Sensei Keith Hergenhahn advanced in the three Martial Arts that he has been studying for many years. He advanced in his initial art of Kajukenbo to 4th Degree Black Belt. That, in and of itself, is quite an accomplishment.
Sensei Keith also advanced in the two Martial Arts that are at the heart of our dojo. He advanced to a 5th Degree Black Belt in KajuKido and a 4th Degree Black Belt in Ichikan Aikido, recognizing his mastery, and honoring his contribution to their creation.
It really goes without saying that our dojo would not be what it is without his contribution and leadership. So, many thanks and a sincerely heartfelt congratulations to him.
Hannah was advanced to Blue Belt in Ichikan Aikido. Hannah diligently attends all Martial Arts classes that we offer, and she strives to understand and implement the principles that we teach. Thank you Hannah for being who you are, and for bringing your unique energy to the dojo.
It is also exciting for us to see Chris Williams start down the path of a Martial Art that can really enrich his life and through him, enrich the life of our dojo. That perfectly says everything that could be said about Chris. He advanced to his first belt in KajuKido today. He did an amazing job and I can’t wait to see where his skillset and wonderful energy can lead him, and us, in the future.
There is much more to come in the next few weeks as we have two of our highest ranking student preparing to advance in their prospective Arts of KajuKido and Ichikan Aikido.
I want to thank everyone for there part in any and all what took place, and is taking place, in our dojo. There is nowhere that it is more clear to me that we are all in this together.
