Skylar – Ichikan Aikdo

Major congrats to Skylar Hergenhahn for advancing to Brown Belt with a Black Stripe in Ichikan Aikido today. That is the last Belt before advancement to Black Belt.

Skylar has been studying this art for 5 years and did an outstanding job of demonstrating how far he has come. He leaves for Taiwan for 5 weeks beginning Monday, then starts college in the Fall. I hope he can devote some time over the next few years to advance to Black Belt.

A special tribute was paid to him by Sensei Mark Abdo as he passed his Brown Belt with a Black Stripe down to Skylar. Skylar is only the 3rd student to achieve this rank in Ichikan Aikido.
