Sept & Oct Belt Advancements

The next few weeks will be an exciting time for the dojo. We will be having 5 Demos for Belt Advancements, 3 in KajuKido and 2 in Ichikan Aikido.

We begin with KajuKido Demos, with Mike Dempsey advancing on September 10th to Purple Belt w/ Brown Stripe, followed the next weekend, the 17th, with Keith Hergenhahn presenting 2nd Degree Black Belt material for his advancement to 3rd Degree Black Belt, and Skylar Hergenhahn advancing to Brown Belt.

We will then skip a week, the 24th, and we will not be holding classes on that day. The week after that, Oct 1st, we will have Ichikan Aikido Demos, with Mark Abdo advancing to Brown Belt w/ a Black Stripe, and Joan Abdo advancing to Blue Belt.

Everyone has put in a lot of hard work and effort to train for these advancements. Keith and I are extremely pleased with how they have developed in their Martial Art skills.  It is also very exciting to see how they have all really bonded and supported each other in this endeavor.
