Mike – Ichikan Black Stripe

Mike Dempsey did his Demo for his Brown Belt w/ Black Stripe in Ichikan Aikido on Saturday. He did an outstanding job and we are excited for him and proud of him. This follows on the heels of his having earned a Black Belt in KajuKido recently.

Mike is a wonderful addition to our dojo. It is really fun to see him connect the dots in understanding the principles which are an operation in the performance of techniques. It is also fun to watch him develop as an Instructor … making him dig into those principles even further.

His accomplishments in both Ichikan Aikido and KajuKido are well earned and accurately capture where he is in his Martial Arts training. We are very fortunate to have him be a part of our TOMA community.
