Igor – Belt Advancement

I am excited to announce that Igor received his Brown Belt in Ichikan Aikido on Wednesday. He had an excellent Demo.

Igor is a real treasure to our dojo. He began his study of Aikido in the Ukraine in a more “classical” style. What that meant is that he has really had to adjust to how we teach and train differently. He has been incredibly open and respectful in embracing those differences. Igor also fits so beautifully within our community. He is so gracious and playful and supportive. I think he likes us …
