Grand Master
I, Frank, was promoted to Grand Master in Kajukenbo yesterday. It is the culmination of 30+ years of study and practice. It is a pinnacle honor for me.
I just posted the advancement of Eric to his 1st Belt in Kajukenbo with this being my last belt to obtain in that Art. It strikes me that they are no different from each other. Eric’s Yellow and my 9th are just our next steps on a never ending challenge and journey. We both need to strive to improve. Otherwise … what’s the point.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in my advancement to this level. That would include instructors, students, Ukes, everyone that has been a part of my evolution. I am very clear that I would not be where I am without all of them.
The photo includes some of the most prominent influencers for me along the way … from the individual who brought this Art to Texas … my first Instructor … my Martial Art soulmate who traveled every step of the way with me … my current Instructor who opened the door for all of these final stages of advancement to happen for me.
A deeply heart-felt thank you …
