Belt Advancements (6/27/20)

Two major belt advancements took place last weekend. Joan Abdo advanced to Brown Belt with Black Stripe in Ichikan Aikido. That is the last belt prior to Black Belt. She had an amazing demo, even surprising Mark and Keith and I at how well she did. It took her a while to get there but she is now well on her way towards embracing Black Belt.

We also had a surprise promotion for Mark Abdo. He was promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ichikan Aikido. He has really become a good martial artist and I am profoundly grateful for what he and Keith provide as instructors. They are amazing and our dojo would not be what it is without them.

I also deeply appreciate Grandmaster Jeff Richardson attending this demo in support of Joan and our Dojo. Thank you.
